Grown in Cambodia’s red-earth highlands, by growers who let the soil do the talking. Our pepper comes from the Memot area of Mondulkiri — a region less well-known than Kampot, but producing pepper of genuinely exceptional quality from the same rich volcanic soil. Hand-picked and traditionally dried, it’s chosen for what’s in the peppercorn, not the name on the label.
Distinct, lingering heat with notes of citrus and pine, and an aroma that fills the room the moment it’s cracked. Best ground fresh at the table — over steak, in a cream sauce, or wherever black pepper usually plays it safe.
